Who we are
Democritus Mechatronics and Automation was founded in 2022 in the city of Xanthi. Our main objective is to manufacture mechatronic devices and automations for the needs of the competitions we participate in as well as for educational programs in which we are active.
Our Mission
- The main goal is to bring students into contact with new technologies.
- To be a factor in the development of new ideas.
- Το deliver tangible results back to society by offering a much of the research to the general public (Open-Source).
Our Team
Our Team consists of 20 undergraduate students from various faculties of the university. Also, team is under the auspices of Mechatronics & Systems Automation Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace.

Develops the open source software for every project.
Electronics
Research and design of electronics components of projects.
Marketing
Takes care of the financial strength of the group and promotion on social media.
Product Design
Research for project parts construction and design.
